What Stone Needs
Natural stone varies from piece to piece. We lay it out dry before we set it, so the color and veining spread through the room instead of bunching up in one corner.
Light marble goes down on white setting material so nothing shows through it. Most stone is porous and gets sealed after it is grouted, and again every so often after that. We will tell you what yours needs.
Pebble Floors
River pebble works well on a shower floor. The small stones follow the slope of the pan and give your feet something to grip. It takes more grout and more time than a sheet of porcelain mosaic.
